Year after year, La Oportunidad continues to meet all accountability standards (including public disclosure, governance, financial activity, and fundraising) set forth by the Charities Review Council.
The Charities Review Council is an independent resource that helps Minnesota donors to make informed charitable giving decisions. The CRC sets accountability standards and reviews charities through its Accountability Wizard. Results of these reviews help the public determine the trustworthiness of a charity before giving.

Does your company have a matching program?
You might be able to make your donation go farther. Many companies encourage employees to donate to their favorite charities by matching their contributions, sometimes dollar-for-dollar or more.
Some corporate volunteer programs offer paid time off for employees to spend their work time providing assistance to their favorite charitable organization. Others will make a contribution on your behalf to your charity of choice to reward your volunteer activities. To find out if your company has a program to encourage volunteerism, contact your Human Resources department.
How Do I Apply for a Matching Gift?
2. Fill in the Employee section of the form and send it to La Oportunidad along with your donation or, if you've made your contribution online, simply complete the form and mail it to:

3. We will complete the form and forward it to your employer's matching gifts office for processing. The company will send its matching donation directly to La Oportunidad.
Some companies disburse matching gifts on a quarterly or yearly schedule. To reduce administrative expenses, La Oportunidad will not forward a notice to employees when matching contributions are received. If you ever have a question about your company's matching donation, contact your Human Resources department.
